The Traditional Tea Company began with a small idea that grew to a reality, and is based right here in the north west. Created by Paul and David who both love their traditional cuppa, but after extensive travels to different parts of the world they developed a taste for something new and different but still reminded them of back home. “After trying many different types of tea our passion evolved along with the quest to find the perfect cup of tea. Instead of finding the perfect cup of tea we found several perfect brews. With some considerable research we found that the best teas contained only the leaf from a single plantation.

On our return to the UK we found it very difficult to be able to fulfil our newly acquired tastes and saw a definite gap in the market. Although England is a nation of tea lovers we felt that people had forgotten what the real tea of yesteryear was all about. So the Traditional Tea Company was formed. Unlike many commercial brands our quality teas contain no artificial flavours or additives in both our loose leaf tea, and tea bags. Our tea is imported from many parts of the world; each type is rigorously tasted by the “experts” before being presented to you our customers for the final verdict.
